"So our production, in terms of what we have to say, is not scholarly. It does not merit attention of scholars or of semantics. It is for us, for people. In a sense it is like the vox populi — the voice of the people, being reflected back to the people through the heart. "

The word, "production" insinuates that Sahaj Marg is a product which is produced (or made). In this case it is a "trade-marked" product which belongs to individual businessmen, and is sold (as "free" of course) in a Market, which they want to invade with this trade-marked product, to be followed by other more "commercial" and not-so-free products ... (books, incense, travel, meditation mats, photos, Dvd's, lodging, accomodation, food, clothing, retreats, etc ... for which the purchaser will often "donate" the value asked or suggested, so as to avoid the sales taxes.

Michael, ex-preceptor from USA, once said that Sahaj Marg was simply re-processing or regurgitating the energy of the crowd back to them, sort of like an entertainer does and what Chari confirms above ... There is no "god" or "divine" energy being added to the mix by the materialist businessmen or their "preceptors" (priests) ... This statement of Chari seems to confim that ... You are only getting back your own "voice" (sound?) ... NOT GOD!! Maybe the disciples are also sub-consciously being made to surrender to "beings of light", the collective egregores, or other fantasies, specters, or phantasms which are allegedly being channeled by their anonymous psychic lady MEDIUM (s). The Mind of the "serf" does the rest.

According to Chari, re-reading the messages channeled through an anonymous French lady Medium, allegedly from Babuji, Lalaji, Chari's mother, Chari's wife, or even the "beings of light" (and god only knows who else), the so-called "whispers" seven or eight times could erase one's samskaras ... (the equivalent of the Roman Catholic "confession, forgiveness of sins and absolution" and/or "indulgences"!! )

Yeah!! Right!! Want to buy a bridge? So much for God being JUST, and/or the LAW of KARMA!!

What Sahaj Marg has become is more accurately called: "spiritual capitalism" ... it was not the truth when the Christian Pope Leo X (1475-1521) used it in the 15th century, and it is not the truth for Sahaj Marg (tm) and Chari today ! ... it's a SCAM !!

To opportunistically (exploit) quote Christ and what Chari calls "corrupt" Christianity, does not make one right or even "Christ-like". To presume that some's heart will "shine" in some fantasy world, and some's heart will not because of their actions in this world, does not reflect the reality. It is a fantasy. A religious made-up and invented fantasy!! How convenient that their hearts (PUMP) will only shine "in some other fantasy world", and not here in the material world, where the "shining" could be studied and verified to be non-existent !! SPIRIT or MIND fields, if they exist, are not made of Matter or Energy!! They do not shine and they are not "crystal (solid), liquid, gaseous, plasma, sea of quark, etc ... or other sub-atomic properties of the material world ...

The speed of light (hopefully) is not the speed of MIND (thoughts), nor the speed of SPIRIT (rarefied energy) ... What looks like light from this realm will appear to be as gross as matter (lower frequency) from a higher frequency perspective (Mind, Spirit? ... if these "fields" exists at all and if they exists in isolation ... as fields)

Matter and enrgy (electromagnetism or "light") are said to be "equivalent" (but they are not at the same vibration or frequency) ... The material packet or "quantum of EM" is called a "photon". From the perspective of EM energy (light), matter seems to be static ... but we know different NOW. At the atomic and sub-atomic levels, matter is equivalent to its energy and is in MOTION. From the perspective of MIND (science), the heart of the saint and the heart of the tyrant or the despot, being both made of matter (carbon), reflect the same EM energy (LIGHT) and are made of approximately the same amount of matter, and one does not shine more than the other. And "As below the same above" (The Kybalion).

Chari's (and his gullible abhyasis) desire to "shine only in the other world" should carry a caveat ... "careful what you wish", Light being energy, is not very much "higher" in frequency than matter ... It is not higher in frequency than the posited fields of MIND or the alleged reality which some call: SPIRIT ... if there are such realms in REALITY!! ... and by-the-way, light does not have "consciousness" !

It is to produce or, shall we say, transform, what was a splendid, glorious, resplendent, human heart, which has become sullied, which has become covered with grossness, which has become hardened through selfishness, into its original nature and send it back."

The Carrot and the Stick: Now you and your "heart" (PUMP) are suggested to be "sullied and "covered with grossness", and "hardened through selfishness" ... where before?? you were "glorious" and covered with "lightness"?? (when you were a baby?? or before you were born and were either MIND?? or SPIRIT?? or "nothing"? ) ...

We may conjecture the reason why so many preceptors and abhyasis have "heart" and "blood" problems. Many I know have even died from "sullied" hearts (heart attacks, strokes, blood pressure problems, suicide, etc..) . Could it be because of such negative suggestions which can become "post hypnotic suggestions" when preached by a self-professed Master, magician (or mystic), Chari, which the abhyasis are instructed to believe and to obey without thinking??

Does this not sound like "sin"? Is Sahaj Marg (tm) simply becoming a "same old, same old" RELGION!! ... and then, as if by "magic", (or through the forgivness of your "sullied" sins, and/or erasing of your samskaras) they claim they will fix your "sullied " or "broken heart" (PUMP) and " send it back"... Does it not start to smell ?? Does it not start to sound like a made-up fantasy? A "CON"?? Does he not really mean your "broken brain"?? Do you folks who are co-dependent with Sahaj Marg(tm) understand what you read??

You are told nothing!! "If", the conditional tense, means that if Sahaj Marg, does not work, and you don't become "healthy", then it's your fault or the fault of your "samskaras" ... or the law of Karma ... How can they lose?? They are not responsible for anything! ...

You are insured beyond the grave but who do you sue if you can't collect your "shining" heart (PUMP) after supporting RACISM and SEXISM all your "adult??" years?

In their fantastic "BRIGHTER World", do you think there is a "complaint department" manned by some spirit entity like Saint Peter, the dead apostle of Jesus, the Christ, or maybe even Gabriel, the trumpet-playing archangel? Or even Michael, the sword-carrying (of blue light) archangel ...

You divide the world for the racists, and the sexists, and you separate from your family, and friends and you betray your culture for a "fairy tale"!!

Why do they want to belong to UNDPI? Opportunism is what we claimed for years ... Obviously not because they live the UN ideal on human rights. Now in their Newsletter, Echoes of North America, June, 2010 issue, an abhyasi confirms our allegations. Read this:

It is a great example of what Sahaj Marg is, always was, and/or has become ... and which is now EXPOSED!!


If we, the fair-skinned, become like them, we will also discriminate against those who are darker than we are!! THEM!! We may also, like them believe that we must then have been "CHOSEN" by ONE to "liberate" them (the "less than") from their petty tribalism, their "racism, sexism, nepotism, nationalism, imperialism, and thus SAVE them ...

We, the "fair-skinned", according to their reasoning (of lack of), must be "more than", hence we must be chosen by ONE to be their Masters, their Messiahs!! Their Saviours!! Their GODS!!

We are also SMARTER than that!! We don't believe our own fantasies and our own fairy tales!!

That is our SECULAR gift! A gift from the logical BRAIN. As we now know from recent research at the University of Syracuse, USA, "love" is not solely from (nor of) the heart, but mostly of the brain. It is a gift from the loving BRAIN!!

The stomach can have "butterflies" when one is in love, but one does not claim that one loves with the stomach ... although, I think that some (religious fanatics?) get "orgasmic pleasure" from food, as they seem to revel in "feasts"!! Food, for some, is a replacement for "love" ... hence the many overweight religious adepts ... ;-)) "No sex please, we're spiritual! "

Use your heart to think, and like them, become irrational, illogical and "racist, sexist, nepotist, etc...". Or use the brain and become logical and hopefully, more "loving"!! No guarantees!! But we see in Religion, the product of using the heart to think !! We see the blatant moral and ethical bankruptcy of those who search for ONE or One-ness (what some call "god") in the heart, the PUMP!!

And it's not HOLY!! And according to some "darkies" (slava), it's not very SPIRITUAL !!

It is SPIRITUALISM though!! It is also a SHAM*... And maybe even a SCAM*!! A con??

This, as Babuji has said, as it has been said through the history of Indian culture, Indian tradition, Indian Vedic knowledge: India is the land of spirituality. It is not a matter of pride or a boast. America is the land of money; Germany is the land of science. So just as the body has its own specified functions: the eyes see, the nose smells, the mouth tastes, the ears hear, you touch, using the pancha indriyas - the five senses. So the world as a whole has its own sensory, shall we say, apparatus for input and output. And I believe this will be the heart, somewhere there will be the head (Deutschland) and somewhere there is the vaishya, the market people (that is the U.S.).

So we have to look at the world in a different sense, not as something that is specially yours or specially mine but as a unified whole, with the properties very much so of a human being, endowed with the separate apparatus in each place of what was created or designed for it, respecting it, using it properly, for the common welfare of all. That is what democracy is supposed to mean. Of course, the democracy as it is practised today is very selfish, very racist in its application, and very narrow and exclusive for the benefit of the few, to the detriment of the many. That is not how it should be practised. And there are enough proofs that civilizations that practised democracy in that way have perished, have gone into oblivion, becoming but a sentence in the history books of this world. (name one!! ) That is by the way, you see, for our political leaders all over the world to understand and to implement. The good things must be shared; bad things are individual. A man's crime is his own. (wrong) A man's intellect, a man's knowledge is for the good of all. His spirituality has to be for the good of all. And as you proceed higher and higher, it has to be freer and freer: no restrictions, no payment, no limits, no racist prejudices, no colour bar.

(lol lol lol ... hypocrisy... Sahaj Marg(tm) and their "Brighter World" must not be very "high" ...

At Sahaj Marg, the reality is that they (those at the top of the pyramid... which none can "touch" or change) actively practice racism, nepotism, favouritism, sexism, etc... when chosing a wife, a successor, etc...etc... no practising gays allowed and no "darkie" (savla, sawla) girls for our boys, please, we are SPIRITUALISTS!! And those girls must be of the "right cut", and the right "height"... that's the standard of "spiritualism" at Sahaj Marg (tm) ... as channeled by Babuji they claim?? And Babuji has now merged with the racist and sexist divine, they must claim!!

Ah! Ah! Ah!... What a mess! What a Mess! You guys meditate to become like THAT??

GET UP off your knees and off your "butts"!! Stand up so we can see you and your two faces!! Look at those you discriminate against in the EYE!! Let them know to their faces, how your Master thinks they are NOT SUITABLE or not ENOUGH (colour, height, cut, etc...) !!

Then stand up at the UNDPI and demand that SRCM's membership be revoked!!

Shame! Shame! Shame! You will teach that to the next generation and divide them!!

Money (or wealth) does not only reside in America!! We are a Global Society!! We now travel and live everywhere!! And some of us read and understand... and now, with the INTERNET, we can also be heard and EXPOSE the racism which wants to hide inside RELIGION!! (In Religion, hides all the "sins", as usual!!)


What these countries have in common is that they are places where the concept of "the Master Race" and other "superiority complexes" have been used by some (politicians, religious fanatics, military despots) to explain and fuel their "imperialism"!! They are not more RIGHT, more HOLY, more SMART, or more "RICH" (anymore), they are just more "ruthless" towards their neighbours, which they are forever invading !! (...the word "Baal" which means "Master" in India, was and is a generic term for "demon" (Baal-zebub is "Sir" or "Mister" Zebub ) in some of the countries surrounding India ... in other words: When the Master is controlling in India, the surrounding countries are "invaded", so as to build more TEMPLES (Ashrams) to their materialist and gender-driven gods). They are, (some such as Chari think) the gift to mankind, and they think (according to Chari) that they will save or liberate the world ... they are "gods" (they think!)

But in Africa, they are trying to suck money out of that impoverished population to build Ashrams!!

The REALITY is "NOT this, NOT that"!

So far all "they" (Chari and his imperialist ilk) have done is to DIVIDE the world!! ... they have built for themselves and for those who would obey and serve them, and are profiteering from "globalism". They have delayed and/or hidden our realization of true UNITY, and our progress towards a global Civilization ONE !!

The world will never rally and become ONE under a "racist" banner!!

about babuji, i would like to add the following thing:

to me it was useful to reread speeches and books, just to see whether my new, no longer trusting, perspective on sahaj marg tallied with what was said and written. i found that there are numerous passages where i used to gloss over the inconsistencies, out of trust in the master and the system, but which without this trust simply stand out as moral pressure, judgmental and indoctrinating.

i have come across a few letters from babuji to chari, where babuji is concerned about the skin-complexion of possible brides for his son. would you believe this? one can look it up in volume iii of "Letters of the Master" around 1969-1970. culturally/traditionally in india, dark complexion of brides was (and still is by many) seen as less desirable, and you can read for yourself that babuji makes a point of asking chari about a possible candidate's complexion. this from a "Special Personality"...

i will reproduce the relevant parts of these letters below, but i will replace last names with blanks, for privacy protection, because internet is not the same as some obscure spiritual group's publication.

the description of this aspect of the marriage episode of chi. umesh (babuji's son) starts on page 57 of 'letters of the master vol. iii'.

letter of 31 october 1969 from babuji to chari: (just the relevant quote):


"An officer in the Ministry of Home Affairs has started marriage negotiations for his daughter with Umesh. I have a mind to finalise the marriage of Umesh without consulting him if he does not object. I shall give him a good match. I received the photo of the girl today. The face-cut is good and I am told by one of my near relatives that she has white complexion."

here the description of the girl ends completely, there is no more mention of her in this letter. as you can see, babuji mainly focuses on the face-cut being good and the white complexion... this is truly superficial (more so in the light of this cultural prejudice that i mentioned), and also in my opinion completely at odds with everything that sahaj marg is supposed to stand for.

some time later, the marriage is still not concluded, and there are two more telling letters, one from chari, one from babuji. what words there are are little in number, but i find them to be very revealing in their intent.

letter from chari to babuji 16 march 1970 (page 72 same book):

"A gentleman by name Mr. S-- S-- and his wif called on us yesterday evening on behalf of Shri R.P.S-- of Hardoi, said to be a retired sessions judge and a close associate of your family for the last 25 years. They came to meet us and Chi. Umesh in connection with a proposal to marry Sow. C--, one of the daughters of the judge Shri R.P.--. The girl is stated to be an M.A., a good artist in painting, well versed in domestic duties, but complexion is "savla". I have requested Mrs. S-- S--, who is related to Mr. R.P.--, that she should write to Mr. R.P.-- to contact you directly. I trust they will do so."

which is the complete relevant passage in this letter. i'm sure you will see the implication of this little by-sentence:

' but complexion is "savla" '

(savla (or sawla, sawala) means dark and is generally seen as less desirable than fair or white), especially when contrasted with the other qualities...!

then babuji's answer on 27 march 1970:

"Mr. C.A. R-- has suggested a good match for Umesh at Bombay. The father of the girl is going to present Rs. 5000/- in cash to the boy, and jewellery worth Rs. 5000/- plus other things as a gift. I respect the opinion of your father but I have already given consent to the person at Moradabad. I have written to him that I like the girl and when you approve the boy I may proceed towards the finalisation. The girl is second class M.A. in Psychology, fair complexioned and having good cut and her height is good. There is no question of dowry from my side. The father of the girl is Divisional Signal Engineer, Northern Railway, Moradabad, and the family is well-educated. The father of the girl will also go to Madras after 4th April 1970 to see Umesh. His name is R.N.--."

which is the complete relevant passage. once again, all that babuji mentions about the girl are her M.A., and three physical qualities which he must deem relevant, to mention them like this: fair complexioned, having good cut and her height is good. as if he is describing some farm animal, i'm sorry to say.

would one not think that a Special Personality would have more pressing spiritual concerns regarding marriage? apparently not, when it's about his own son.

so, yes, in my opinion, already babuji was not at all the genuine article. which doesn't mean that his teachings are complete rubbish. just that he didn't live up to them himself either...

How many MEDIUMS does it take to adhere to Chari's "standards of spiritualism"?


Let's see ... Let's Recapitulate ...

There is Chari's "anonymous French Lady" Medium #1, who channels Lalaji, Babuji, Chari's Wife, Chari's Mother, the "beings of light", and "other elevated souls" in a fund-raising series of books which will be published for 12 years, called: Whispers from the Brighter World. Then there is Rose's Medium #2, the not-so-anonymous Catherine Lauret, the Medium who is hanging around the SRCM (California-1997) Ashrams, and who convinced Rose's fiancée to break-off their engagement, and predicted some "apocalyptic" events for Rose and Europe (nuclear anhilation of England in a confict with China in 2010...SOON?). According to Rose, she apparently is living in India, in the same house with two "young men", who she has now made her preceptors. She apparently claims that she will be Chari's successor. She did accurately predict that A. K. Bhatter would not be Chari's successor.

And now, there is (anonymous) Erin's anonymous Medium #3, a alleged professional psychic Medium from England. This lady apparently has a "brilliant reputation" and allegedly has never had anything to do with Sahaj Marg or with Sahaj Marg(tm) of Chari. And amid all this, Babuji is supposed to be (they claim) in the "un-reachable" Central Region, and yet, he seems to be available to all these lowly MEDIUMS who keep contacting him daily?? All the while, the many MASTERS, Gurus, Avatars, Saviours, Messiahs, God-Men, etc... of all other faith-based systems (including Chari, the current Master of Sahaj Marg(tm)) can't seem to reach him and confess and admit that he is their: Special Personality, (a term and a position Ram Chandra (Babuji) made up) and then give up or foresake their current religions and become abhyasis of Chari or his son P.R. Krishna ??

What a dramatically busy and tedious fate the afterlife must be for some, to be so-called "LIBERATED", but tied to responding to every Medium, and respond to every prayer coming from the co-dependent entities of the Physical world!! The Brighter World of Sahaj Marg (tm), or the "Central Region" of that Brighter World is appapently not a very peaceful and LIBERATING place!!


To quote P.T. Barnum, (of circus fame):

"There is a new sucker born every minute!"

But:

You can fool some of the people some of the time

Babuji died April 13, 1983. That being said, Chari and his or her medium(s) have resurrected his avatar to deliver the good word of Sahaj Marg.

Everything has been said about "Whispers", the murmurs of Babuji from beyond the grave as the business of the Brighter World which they generate. "THE new Bible or Veda of Sahaj Marg(tm)", Chari said. As if that was not enough.

Erin has taken up the challenge, she promises us another word, the last avatar of Babuji, before another one, soon? After all, why not, we are ever close to another hoax.


First Hoax: Sahaj Marg(tm) versus Sahaj Marg the historic channel


When the Avatar of Whispers contradicts Kasturi, Narayana or Varadachari

Example Whispers in the April 19, 2001 at 14:00 (Echoes of Africa published in October 2010, in article: Fears and Money), Babuji (allegedly) said:

"You can rest assured on this point also: all is clear and correct concerning the finances of the Mission. The Master does not use the contributions and the many gifts. They are invested in acquisitions ment to satisfy the abhyasis and in the maintenance of this property. (...) "

Sister Kasturi says otherwise. She reminds us that Babuji was opposed to donations and wanted to get rid of them in the Mission, but however, that is what happened. Cowardice and bad behavior come with money. She is opposed to the output of "Whispers" which she considers harmful, because they peddle an "incorrect" message.

That's what she said in her telephone interview with Shashwat of February 20, 2009 (transcript on 4d-don's Blog). For his part, KC Narayana recalls the words of his father, the famous Dr. KC Varadachari, which pointed to Babuji in the early seventies, the risk of physical and financial excesses of the Mission.


Another Hoax? Erin vs Catherine?


For whom does Erin roll-over? PR Krishna and Chari versus all the others?

So a new website: Conversations with Ram Chandra (Babuji) of Sahaj Marg http://conversationswithbabuji.blogspot.com/, which in turn promises extraordinary revelations. Babuji speaks to many medium(s) from the the "GREAT BEYOND". (or from the Central Region??)

Erin is (allegedly) an English lawyer, the Medium is a known professional and reputable.

She (Erin) is also the mother of Peter, boyfriend of a nice little abhyasi named Lucy. Curious, but without any bias for or against Sahaj Marg and the Shri Ram Chandra Mission (she says), she consulted the websites for and against the SRCM. Intrigued, she wanted to set her heart at ease. She then went for the first time in her life to consult a recognized psychic (who knew nothing about Sahaj Marg).

And Babuji spoke!

"Chari has done a lot of work, good work, and it is not about to stop. Kasturi is a saint, she is on track and did an excellent job, but it is not her job to lead the Mission. Disputes must stop. Many have gone astray. We must find unity. Ajay Kumar Bhatter abandoned his post for political reasons, intimidation and changing of path. Lauret Catherine is a good woman but she is driven by money and power, she made bad decisions. It is a man who will lead tomorrow and it will be PR Krishna. The hoax is not insulting to anyone, it is intelligent and it even hints at the truth. So for whom does Erin Roll-over?

Moral degradation

Frank Waaldijk, a former Dutch Zonal-in-Charge, who resigned from Chari's group (SRCM California-1997), posted this comment, which follows the previous remarks by 4d-Don in October about Chari speech in which he speaks of homosexuality and AIDS. Here is his message, translated by myself. May he not find any insult on my part, I wish I could speak Dutch as fluently as he speaks French.

"Chari, in his October 2010 speech to preceptors, points (with three fingers pointing to itself) a finger at the Catholic Pope, who apparently has offered a special prayer for the poor who are suffering from AIDS ... Chari's called this "moral degradation" ... because the Pope did not offer prayers for those suffering from other diseases (especially at this time) ..."

"And Sahaj Marg (tm) them, they pray for peace so as to coat themselves with the UN flag and have a bit of credibility with people who do not know them ... while declaring war against their "old preceptors and prefects" who did not want to serve Chari ...
And their "special prayer" for peace, while forgetting floods, earthquakes, fires, etc.. ... etc.. ... For them it is a sign of "holiness" ... or SPIRITUALITY!"

I saw that the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navanethem Pillay has recently published a speech in the Washington Post on "Homophobia, Violence and Intolerance" (see here: http://www.un.org/ecosocdev/geninfo/afrec/newrels/homophobia.html )

There, she says that it is the clear responsibility of authority figures to fight against discrimination towards gay people:

"But as important as decriminalization is, it is only a first step. We know from experience in those countries that have already removed criminal sanctions that greater, concerted efforts are needed to counter discrimination and homophobia, including both legislative and educational initiatives. Here again, we all have a role to play, particularly those in positions of authority and influence — including politicians, community leaders, teachers and journalists.

Sadly, too often those who should be exercising restraint or using their influence to promote tolerance do just the opposite, reinforcing popular prejudice."



Me, I don't understand how in the Ashrams, at Vraads Sande for example (European headquarter for SRCM (California-1997), located in Denmark) , they want to celebrate "Human Rights Day" (of the UN), when their Master states in his speech of Oct.12, 2010 (as Don has indicated) :

"...People like Bill Gates, he is willing to give billions, for AIDS. Even the pope, when Babuji Maharaj and I were [unintelligible] (in the Vatican) some years ago, said a special prayer for AIDS sufferers. This shows our moral degradation, you see. They don't want the tuberculotic patients, paralytic patients, heart patients..., the idea being that these people are rich enough to afford their own cure.

THAT is moral degradation, when a pope says [Chari chuckles] a special prayer [chuckles again].

So you see, it is from below to the top or the other way down ... when churches condone same-sex marriages, perform same-sex marriages. Soon a day will come when perhaps in ... or ... [unintelligible place names] (in Athens or in Barcelona, or something like that...) you'll find a man marrying a cow."


If Chari's fictional "a man" is gay or homosexual, he may want to marry a "bull" ... but Chari's whole premise is "bull-crap" ... to be gay or homosexual does not mean to be into "bestiality" ...

One can hardly call that "consentual sex". But again, Chari's whole premise is "bull-crap" anyway ... to be gay or homosexual does not mean to be into "bestiality" or any other deviancy. Why stop at a "cow"... why not a "key hole" or a "picnic table"?? Or the planet, like so many profiteering "businessmen"??

Send this to the UNDPI (which could be intercepted as Chari has a preceptor who works at the UN), and send a copy directly to Navanethem Pillay at her UN address ... request a revocation of the Membership of SRCM (California-1997) from the UN DPI (Department of Public Information)

If Chari's homophobic Speeches are not "RECALLED" immediately (people are dying and are being beaten and tortured) ... then do the moral thing, think with your brain, dis-obey, and RESIGN your membership to this Group of "hate-mongers". Homosexuality, sex between consenting adults of the same gender, is not called "Bestiality"!! ... The Pope or Bill Gates are not "morally degraded" because of their acts or words mentionned above. First a very big thank you to Frank for having transcribed this exerpt of Chari's speech of October 12, 2010, already mentioned by 4d-Don.

What a fine example of tolerance Chari gives us. He advocates his so-called tolerance and love for others.

Here are some fine examples. As soon as he talks about religion or sexuality, no more rhetoric, his nature changes its spots. It is hatred that comes to live in his heart if indeed he has other things in his heart.

The true face of this man shows through so clearly.

I am shocked, outraged. Outraged to have one day dared follow that individual who can only speak with hatred about people which he simply does not understand.

Babuji, from the depths of his Brighter World, could perhaps explain what homosexuality is, and how to not be jealous of the Pope, or how to not have hatred for the forms of sexuality which make him so afraid.

To hear him, we could assume that the Pope is responsible for the day when a man marries a cow. This is a fine example of the amalgamation which he practices and which was denounced by Lea. (see earlier comments)

But this goes much further. By getting the abhyasis to laugh with him about these statements, Chari aligns himself and is now in the category of many other populist leaders, very fashionable in these times of general crisis.

Is spirituality homophobic and populist? Sahaj Marg (tm), and Chari certainly are.

Excuse my anger, but he has gone one step further into abjection.

Babuji's Teachings as per Kasturi Preceptor!

This blog called Kasturiben has appeared on the Internet.

This site brings out a few, and as yet unknown "qualities" or side-effects of Sahaj Marg. You judge if these qualities should be classified as "gifts" or as liabilities (side effects). There is no indication whether this article called: Submission and Surrender is from Sister Kasturi (called by Babuji in one of his books: ... "the only saint of Sahaj Marg") or by someone else (the anonymous author of the blog?).

It is another indication that the "teachings" of Babuji are becoming really difficult to isolate and discuss. What does not come from Chari's anonymous French Medium and her channeled "Whispers From The Brighter World", who also channels the "beings of light", Chari's mother, Chari's wife, and other "elevated souls", now seems to come from many disenfranchised preceptors or leaders of the many schisms of the original Shri Ram Chandra Mission, registered by Babuji, the founder, in 1945. This "Whispers From the Brighter World", beside being a major fund-raiser for Chari's SRCM (California-1997) selling yearly (for the next 12 years??) for $150.00 U.S, is also called the "New Sahaj Marg Bible" or their "Vedas".


In his/her one article: Submission and Surrender on this blog called Kasturiben, this "Preceptor and Saint of Sri Ramchandraji Maharaj, Shahjahanpur" states:

"The other unique aspect of sub(m)ission is that this physical body loses it's significance of name & form and subsequently the object with which our physique is connected also gets lost. For instance, when i wrote to Sri Babuji that 'there is no relevance of subtle or casual body for me', he then wrote to me that the body has it's form & name, but when the object of it has gone out of the mind, then how could i be conscious of my subtle & causal bodies.

He furthur told me about another unique divine condition-'forgetfullness' ,which is bestowed by him to the abyasi again as a reward for his 'submission' to him. In this conditon as he wrote to me, as i also experienced the same, ' you will not be able to recollect any living being or have memories of anyone, how so ever close he/she may be to you unless you are especially reminded about it' . I also felt the same ,when i wrote to him that 'i'am completely drowned in his divine showers and not consious of my own being,then how could i be consious of or see the physique of anyone else."

Would you want your airplane pilot, your policeman, your fireman, your soldier, or your doctor, your judge, your brain surgeon, etc... to have this "unique feature" of Sahaj Marg? Is it a blessing? Is it really a gift or is it really a flaw, a side effect, possibly from a lack of oxygen (according to Chari)? Should Spirit and Spirituality not help in controlling the emotions, honing the mind, and making the memories more clear? Is this loss of memory or this not being "... able to recollect any living being..." simply the side-effects of a "drug" secreted by one of the glands, and which compromises short-term memory? Is Sahaj Marg really just another narcissistic religious "Opiate of the Masses"?

I did not say it or make it up! They seem to indicate a loss of memory or a "not being able to.... have memories of anyone..."... unless you are especially reminded about it", as another "unique feature" of their path.

And that is what they sell? And some are desiring that and buying that and proselyting that to others as a BLESSING of the path of Sahaj Marg?

There should be a caution with the practice of Sahaj Marg...

Fear And Money

Claude (from previous article) pointed out to me this article in the last issue of Echoes of Africa and the Indian Ocean. According to officials of the area, many misconceptions still exist between the expectations of African abhyasis and what is offered by Sahaj Marg. Primarily on the recurring questions around fear, and the finances of the Mission. The explanations offered have not been enough to dispel the rumors.

According to the article, one misconception which is circulating, states that preceptors claim to be volunteers, but that they (allegedly) receive money from the Mission. Overall, this is a misconception. But we can not forget the case of the Centre-in-Charge of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission in Mauritius (August 22, 2008), who did not hesitate to seek outside funding so he could quit his job and exercise his role of "spiritual worker" full time, (sic) at a rate of U.S. $ 50,000 per year.

The African abhyasis are perhaps not wrong to remain vigilant as there are occasional abuses, and what is true for Africa is perhaps also true elsewhere.

This clarification is deemed essential insofar as it’s repeatedly reported in the current context that, despite the information provided by prefects, many misconceptions remain regarding the expectations of our brothers and sisters in the Region about Sahaj Marg and the Mission. To confirm the topicality of these expectations, we asked prefects in Abidjan, Brazzaville and Douala to send us a list of questions commonly asked by brothers and sisters on the functioning of the Mission and on what abhyasis can “expect” of it.

The questions asked, confirm previous observations and emphasize that these expectations are generally out of sync with the objectives of our Mission and its modus operandi. A series of articles is being prepared as an open discussion meant to defuse this information gap. It will include two parts: this very introductory article and a subsequent article to be published in the next issue, focusing on questions asked by our brothers and sisters. These comments are intended for brothers and sisters in our centers and are justified as this lack of information seriously hampers the functioning and evolution of some of our centers.

Joining a spiritual way *

When he decides to join a spiritual way, the abhyasi in Africa generally remains overwhelmed with doubts and fears originating in his family, community and workplace which manifest themselves in different ways. Fears and rumours transpire in various discussions and questions raised during questions and answers sessions or visits in the centres. Rumours are also spread about the finances of the Mission.* These recurring questions are sheer evidence that the explanations provided so far have failed to dispel rumours and misconceptions. We find it useful to address two aspects - fear and the finance of the Mission – that emerge in expectations that are rooted in the context of modern African societies, disintegrated, where fear is exploited and money is considered the driving force of all organizations: worldly and spiritual. (...and?? What's new?? Some of us can read! The history of groups, specially the political power struggles to control the "material" and the court cases are now "on-line"...see the "Index Of Articles On This Blog" on the right margin of this blog ... all with "hypertext" so you can click on the word and it will take you to the "SOURCE" ... Or Google any topic about Sahaj Marg(tm) or Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM), and you will find an article on this blog which is pertinent to your searched topic.)

Fear

Today’s African is no longer necessarily the member of a group sharing the same beliefs and systems of values. Prevailing societal systems are no longer integrated in terms of their key aspects - material, social, spiritual, law, etc. Therefore the individual in modernizing societies is prey to all sorts of upheavals in groups that lost most of their values and integrated regulatory mechanisms. Safeguards that were supposed to prevent an individual from making a selfish use of collective, religious or occult powers were destroyed. The mechanisms of mutual assistance, solidarity and individual participation on a voluntary basis to collective projects whether mundane, religious or initiatory have collapsed. And whereas the group was a protective institution, today’s modern groups are expressions of selfishness, egotistic powers, fear, intimidation, fierce competition, fake/useless democracy** and encouragement to find in charismatic temples, material solutions to one’s problems. (So, how about you join us, who are blessed with much "material", and everytime we go there, we bring something to give them. Or else, we stay home and BE SPIRITUAL, and the money we would spend to "go there", we send them that money, directly to your "abhyasi brothers and sisters" ... We can call it: Survival spirituality for the Planet and for the Societies who are at the "survival thresholds"... WE may be there next... It is our survival also... We don't just "send a prayer"... that is for religions to do... But we send them the MONEY!! or the FOOD! And put away your collection plate, your receipt books, and your "STUFF FOR SALE so the buyer can be blessed for the "other life". Put it all (books, photos, etc...) on-line for FREE!! Sell your retreats, spas, commercial properties, and your "luxuries" of material things (statues, busts, icons, etc...) which are not used most of the time, like the many "cottages", your "6 story commercial buildings", and give the money to the needy and live by the standards of SPIRIT!!

Or else, don't sell words of SPIRITUALITY (book knowledge), if you don't "LIVE IT" ... )

Fear (for one's life, and/or for one's family's life) is the most serious consequence of the disintegration of the traditional holistic system. The sense of respect for religious principles, law and community rules that was taught and instilled through various methods: child education, theatrical performances, rites of passage, initiation, poems, evening tales and stories, songs – enchanting or frightening. The truth, purpose or principles underlying the approaches used were only revealed to initiated people or some specific segments of the group. What has remained of this after the collapse of the traditional system is fear. To enforce some rules, reference to ancestors or spirits was also invoked. This also has now turned into fear – fear of the evil eye, of curse, of spirits and dead people– in the face of which all sorts of solutions are implemented. This includes consulting fetish practitioners, “marabouts” and magicians, and joining religious, esoteric and spiritual movements to secure spiritual protection. (You, the religious, and the Spiritualists (Mediums, messages from the dead, egregores, etc...) are the magicians, the marabouts, who are still trying to get a penny or a pound of flesh from the workers and the poor. GIVE and BE!!... on your way!! )

The current proliferation and craze for Pentecostal and Evangelical groups in most Sub-Saharan countries also stems from the above. (You, at Sahaj Marg(tm), (trade-marked for trade and commerce) are the proselytizers, the dogmatic, the Pentacostal and the Evangelist groups, the RELIGIOUS/SPIRITUALIST, the know-it-alls ... the "representatives of God (male), who don't DO and Give, but DO and Take. Might as well go home with your "mediums" and your "messages from the dead, your egregores, and simply BE, and send the MONEY you would spend (on oil and gas) GOING there!! ) The expansion is particularly manifest in urban cities where the groups’ clientele include men and women from all social segments. They reportedly deliver from evil and demonic forces and provide counselling services. As per their prosperity gospel, they also promise quick success – professional and family – miraculous healings and material prosperity, for which miracle rallies are organised.

Money

This is the context in which one may find oneself in Africa while struggling for spiritual growth. The calling to spiritual growth can be easily marred by "noises" which at first will sound as "emergencies" to be attended - protection against the evil eye and improvement of material life - by joining groups purportedly effective in that.

This problem manifests itself in Mission centers: Abidjan, Douala and Bafoussam, and elsewhere. As elsewhere in deliverance assemblies, money is associated with fear, many people believe that in the Mission too, the propagation of spiritual teachings is money-oriented.

Very many misconceptions are being spread, including:

• The Mission is rich. One should simply to ask for the necessary overheads money for the centers, instead of seeking it from abhyasis;

• The prefects pretend they are volunteers, when in fact they are compensated for that, or at least they receive money from the Mission.

Yet it is essential for our spiritual development as well as for the growth of the Mission in Africa, that abhyasis should be sufficiently mature and responsible to clearly understand a number of facts. They should understand the specificities of our way and that there is no hidden strategy to our teaching system being free. There is "no trap" - as some people believe - meant to lure them in. In a general context of lost values and suspicion more explanations may be required. In such a context, one may be tempted to resort to all sorts of pretexts to shy away from contributing to the functioning of the centers.

At Sahaj Marg, like with all religions, they expand by selling "stuff", (material stuff such as books, photos, dvd's, cd's,), then there are the "tourism" to India, so as to be "blessed" properly by the Master, and there, buy more "stuff"... The Africans are "mature" and can also do their own research on-line ... Much as Sahaj Marg divides the families in the western societies where they move into, the do the same in Africa ... They are addicted to growth, cancerous growth so as to egotistically claim to have "conquered the world" for "mother India" ... The Christians and the Muslims and other religious colononialists have done the same with their nationalist and imperialist dreams ...


In centers where a meditation room is leased, like in Abidjan, Douala and Bafoussam, centres-in-charge and other prefects try in vain, on a regular basis, to prod the brothers and sisters into contributing financially to the rental and running costs of the centers. Suggestions that they can contribute services as volunteers are ineffective likewise. (The Africans are wise!! Let the wealthy "inner circle" of Sahaj Marg (tm), pay for them, their "brothers and sisters") It is always the same few people, a handful of them, who contribute regularly, taking on a too heavy financial burden which would be lighter if there were a greater number of contributors. Some abhyasis ask for money from prefects for their transport from home to the meditation places. It’s worth underlining that their requests don’t necessarily stem from poverty as most of them believe that prefects receive funding from the Headquarters. (Let Chari and the inner circle, pay for his many "cottages" around India and the world, and their "retreats, ranches, castles, and spas", and give the money to the African "brothers and sisters" so they might have a "first HOME" and food ... not a second or third house as some in Sahaj Marg(tm))

Some abhyasis make it clear that unless they are provided money for transport, they will not attend spiritual activities on a regular basis, as if they had to be "compensated" for their involvement in the centre’s activities. (They have become like your "MASTER" and leadership and are trying to live off "they system"... just like many of you ... )

The requests mentioned here are not justified by the paucity of financial resources. Indeed, most of these very brothers and sisters will easily spend more money for their favourite leisure activities *** . A brother can find it difficult to spend FCFA 1000 (about $ 2) on transport to the centres, but he will not mind and will instead do everything possible to spend 10 times more, say FCFA 10 000 (about $ 20) to watch the game of his favourite soccer team. Similarly, a brother may consider that he cannot afford to contribute FCFA 2000 ($ 4) monthly for the center, yet they will easily offer FCFA 150,000 ($ 300) to a "witch doctor" supposed to "fix" their problems. (Arrogance... and un-founded accusations)

Therefore, poverty or lack of resources are not necessarily the reasons why our brothers and sisters expect to be financially as assisted or why they don’t engage in the running of the centres. It’s worth noting that conversely, the most deprived abhyasis do strive to contribute something and become actively involved in the activities of the centres. These attitudes are sheer evidence that for some brothers and sisters, spiritual practice as proposed in our way is not a real priority. (Their eyes are open...)


The Mission

It should be recalled that the Mission is a non-profit organization incorporated as such in India in 1945. (wrong! *) Its branches in the different countries around the world are likewise officially registered under equivalent status in accordance with the law of those countries. Wherever the mission is officially recognized, a Board of Directors is formed whose members are elected (appointed... then rubber-stamped by an OBEDIENT and submissive membership ... no dissent is tolerated) for a limited period, generally three years. The duties of a Board member, in any association whatever it is, are discharged on a voluntary basis. Exclusively as volunteers. They don’t benefit from any compensation or defrayal of expenses incurred in performing their duties.

Persons who wish to serve Master as prefect volunteer their services. Prefects are not compensated for their services monetarily. They don’t receive from the Mission any material or financial benefit of any kind whatsoever. (Words are cheap! ... And you obviously are not privy to all the information. So prove that statement! ... Make all financial records of the SRCM (California-1997) PUBLIC! You are supposed to be a Charity and operating by the "democratic" principles, right?? You are not the kind of people who would mark "donation" on a receit for the sale of food, book, etc.. (lies), so as to avoid paying taxes in other countries?? Are you??

Sources of income of the Mission, either at the central level in India, or in any center in a country consist of membership fees - as per the terms and conditions set forth by the Board of Directors - and donations granted by its members at their free will. (for Charity?? RIGHT?? So Give as Charity!! Don't use it for your "comfort" (retreats, spas, ranches, castles, etc..) and opulence (statues, busts, idolatry, etc..) as with the "corrupt" religions!! ...

Indeed, under as per its statutes, the Mission does not ask for, nor does it receive any payment for the services rendered by the spiritual Master to the members of the Mission, whether these are visible and invisible services directly provided by the Master, or those relayed by the prefects and other functionaries of the Mission. (What religions practice is the "Fear and Temptation" to sell their books, services, magic, spiritualism, etc... by so-called "volunteers" who are really "judas-goats" who deliver their friends and family to the foreign control of the Pyramids of Power which are "RELIGIONS" and "spiritualist" groups such as Sahaj Marg(tm)!!)

The funds collected by the Mission, in centers where contributions are actually collected and where donations are received, are used in their entirety to achieve the spiritual goals of the mission and are in no way invested in money-making or material-related business. * To date, in Francophone Africa, no center has managed as yet to secure the minimum contribution required to rent a meditation room on a regular basis, let alone to acquire or build a center worthy of the name. The meditation premises in Abidjan, Douala and Bafoussam, to only name these three examples, are rented using voluntary donations from a handful of members only. This means that if the present conditions – insufficient contributions and scarcity of local donations – persist, in the absence of exceptional donations, these three centers will stop hiring the said meditation places.

In the centers in India, many ashrams are built with donations from generous benefactors. Likewise, relatively speaking - in terms of financial and demographic levels - in Africa, the abhyasis should be able, in proportion to their number and their financial resources, to meet the basic material needs of the centers. They have yet to be truly willing to do so, by aligning their material contribution – voluntarily, steadily and on a regular basis – with their spiritual commitment. Only in this way will they be able to create and maintain the material conditions conducive to sheltering the spiritual activities necessary for their spiritual growth.

The "not for profit" Shri Ram Chandra Mission (California-1997) does not own any of the material for which they ask you to donate your time and money to "build", and which they control from "outside" the society ... you will never control anything in such a pseudo-non-profit society which is supposed to be "democratic" according to the laws of most countries and the UN DPI (United Nations Department of Public Information) ... SRCM(California-1997) is a DICTATORSHIP controlled and operated by businessmen ... wealthy businessmen who want to expand their commercial "markets" of MATERIAL products and services.



* Sahaj Marg(tm) is more accurately a "SPIRITUALIST" way, which uses "FEAR and TEMPTATION as it's "come-on" or as a way to lure and then to keep the "serfs" in line. Sahaj Marg(tm) uses anonymous Mediums, channeled messages from the dead, egregores, and an invented or made-up lineage ... (The anonymous French Medium claims to love her "channeled" anonymous "beings of Light"!! (Lucifer? Lux=Light Fer=Bearer) Who are they?? How many are they??

* Sell the 25 acre Spurs Ranch (retreat for the well-to-do) and the many commercial buildings (material) in Europe, and help your African Brothers and Sisters who are in "material" need.

* Chari's "break-away" group, the SRCM (California-1997) was registered in San Luis Obispo, California, USA in 1997. That year, the SMRTI (which was Dr. Varadachari's invention, and called the SMRI (Sahaj Marg Research Institute... Chari added "teaching"..) was registered in Austin, Texas, USA in 1997.

* Sell one of Chari's many "cottages" paid for and built by the MISSION, (a Charity??) and help your African Brothers and Sisters who are in "material" need ... Give one of Chari's many 'homes" to some who have no HOME!! Have a HEART!! If you can't find your heart, (as you gaze at your "navel"), then use your BRAIN and THINK!! Science now has proof that love is of and from the BRAIN, not of and from the lowly PUMP, the heart...

* What about the 6 storey commercial buildings "invested" in Europe (Lyon, France). Give some of that money (profit) , which you took from the FRENCH economy (tax-free??), to your African Brothers and Sisters, who need some "material".

** How fake is your Sahaj Marg(tm) SPIRITUALISM? (trade marked for commerce and trade (materialism) ... Representative Democracy is a start in empowering the PEOPLE ... It will "evolve" to Direct Democracy ... It is much better than the "religious" THEOCRACY!!
